Your friend and enemy.

Posted in Music, Personal, Poetry with tags on January 20, 2012 by voicewithinsilence

Let’s be honest (for once): Love and hate collides only within music.
No one is harmed but your soul.
And you love it.
You hate that fact.
Such a pleasant surrender to something unknown and irresistible ,
when fortification is your only goal to life.
All come into one,all you fight for.
But right there is when music cheats you.
Such an adorable betrayal.
You smile it off, or you cry your self to death.
Yet you like it.
You love it.
You hate it.
You become gold.

love you for your silence, I love you for your peace
The still and calm releases that sweep into my soul
That slowly take control

I love you for your passion, I love you for your fire
The violent desire that burns me in its flame
A love I dare not name

PS. Thank you Mr Freddie. (No undervaluing of Mrs Montserrat Caballe.)

Fire and Ice.

Posted in Poetry with tags , on December 12, 2011 by voicewithinsilence

Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.
